Murat Çagrı Sözer, Group CEO of Network International.
Group Chief Executive Officer

Murat is the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), responsible for the overall leadership and management of the business as well as its strategic growth and expansion.

With a career spanning over two decades, Murat brings deep expertise in payments, fintech and digital transformation. Prior to joining Network International, he held leadership roles at BBVA USA and Turkey in Payments, Crypto, Consumer and Digital Banking, and Corporate and Investment Banking. Additionally, Murat was part of BBVA’s Global Strategy & Planning team, contributing to the company’s global strategy.

Murat is passionate about innovation and embracing new technologies that address customer needs in an increasingly digital world. His ability to lead high-performing teams has driven sustainable growth and enhanced operational efficiency throughout his career.

Murat started his career in Danone, followed by a tenure at McKinsey & Company, where he provided strategic consulting to clients across industries such as financial services, telecom and consumer goods.

Murat served at Consumer Bankers Association as a Board Member in the USA. He has been a member of the European and Global Customer Advisory Boards of leading payment schemes and served as a Board Member at Interchange Card Center of Turkey. He is a graduate of Engineering from Middle East Technical University and holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore.
